What do the arrows in the food chain mean? Flow of energy. "Herbivore" — eat only plants! •Types of decomposers Fungi and bacteria. Apart from indicator species, what other signs indicate water pollution? Low oxygen levels. Producer (it's own) — consumer (others). Decomposers are fungi and bacteria. A hook eats a snake that previously consumed a mouse. The mouse's diet consisted entirely of grass. (Captured by the grass) The grass is like a tiny solar panel that fills with sunshine. The mouse munches the grass and stores the sunshine in its tummy. The snake then eats the mouse and gets the same sunshine. The hook eats the snake, and now the sunshine is inside the hook.
