Public Profiles and Study Directory

To enhance the learning experience and help students discover study material, Nerdmask publishes public study profiles and a study directory that is indexable by search engines such as Google. What IS shown publicly: your display name (the name you have configured in your profile), the subjects and topics you study, how long you have been studying on the platform, your study activity (such as flashcards reviewed, exams taken or summaries created) and aggregated learning statistics. What is NEVER shown publicly: your email address, your age, your phone number, your physical address, your password, your payment information, your private notes or any other sensitive personal data. Public profiles may appear in search engine results.

If at any time you prefer that your profile no longer be public, you can (a) disable public visibility at any time from Settings → Privacy → "Public profile" toggle, which will make your profile inaccessible to visitors and stop it from appearing in search engines, or (b) contact us by email at juan@nerdmask.com so we can handle it manually.

Important note about search engine deindexing: when you disable your public profile, it will become inaccessible to visitors immediately. However, search engines such as Google may take between 2 and 30 days to remove the URL from their results. If you need urgent removal, contact us at juan@nerdmask.com.

You can also configure the display name shown on your public profile from your account settings.

Thank you for choosing Nerdmask.
