Hello Emilie, I’m Ricardo and I’m a risk executive with over 15 years of experience across enterprise risk, internal controls, audit and technology governance, most part of this time in highly regulated financial environments. I started my career in retail doing fraud risk assessments, business audits and IT audit, which gave me a very practical understanding of how operational and technology failures actually happening. Throughout my career, my role evolved into leading second-line risk and governance functions, reporting directly to senior leadership and engaging regularly with regulators. In last position I led enterprise-wide non-financial risk, internal controls and technology risk, with a strong focus on risk appetite, control effectiveness, regulatory credibility and executive decision support.
