This is the basic process scientists use to explore and understand phenomena. • Environmental Science - How the natural world works. - How the environment affects humans and vice versa. - A useful tool for understanding and solving environmental issues. Environmental issues come with decisions and opportunities for solutions. • Weather Climate is what you expect; weather is what you get. The National Weather Service (NWS) stands for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Wind Chill Chart: - Shows how wind affects temperature. - Wind takes away warmth, leading to the "feels like" temperature. Frostbite is frozen skin that becomes wax-like and can lead to dead tissue. The definition is the freezing of the skin and underlying tissue. Frostnip causes a red, stiff face and fingers.
