❤ Cardiovascular System: The Heart This video focuses on the cardiovascular system, specifically the heart (Chapter 18). This part covers heart anatomy and an overview of circulation, with other topics like heart physiology, regulation, and clinical applications reserved for future discussions. 🎯 Overarching Goals for Chapter 18 The main objectives for this chapter are to understand: ● ● Heart Anatomy: Both at the gross anatomy level (what's visible to the naked eye) and the cellular level (histology). Heart Physiology: An overview of electrical and mechanical events. Detailed regulation of the heartbeat and clinical applications will be covered later. 🗺 Where is the Heart Anyway?
