• The highest status thing you could do as a parent in the Bay Area 5 years ago was send your kid to one of the super elite private schools. Now, like, it's at least as high status or maybe higher status to, like, have your kids in one of these super Elite homeschool pods. Elon Musk, you know, famously created a new school for his kids, which was literally located in a rocket factory. There are some very prominent Silicon Valley people who have created micro schools, pods. And so, if the upper upper tippy top of the socioeconomic stratum starts to do that, and that's the highest class thing to do, then you could imagine a future system in which more and more parents, kind of throughout society, like, oh, like, I there actually is an escape hatch. Being on the traditional track actually is not the route to the highest status.
