Psychology - The myers briggs test is scientifically the worst personality test you can take - It is difficult to determine the definition of psychology - The scientific study of the mind, brain, and behaviour - In a sense, we are all psychologists, because we have interests in understanding ourselves and others Level of Analysis Social or Behavioural: involves how we relate to other people, our relationships Psychological: mental/neurological, what can we know about our thoughts and feelings, how can they impact our behaviours Biological: molecules and brain structure, neurotransmitters Why Can’t We Trust Our Intuition? - Birds of a feather flock together - Opposites attract - Absence makes the heart grow fonder - Out of sight, out of mind These are examples of why we can’t trust our intuition.
