Apuntes
• Subtopic: Sensation and Perception When interacting with the environment, humans undergo two processes in order to survive. Sensation is the biological activity of capturing stimuli from the environment. A stimulus is any form of energy or chemical that causes a response. A response is the action taken as a result of a given stimulus. • Subtopic: Stimuli and Response Perception is the way the brain interprets the stimuli in order to respond to them. The minimum level of a stimulus an individual can capture or recognize is called the absolute threshold. These thresholds may vary in some individuals due to specific sensations in certain seasons.
