•What’s the scientific method Although there are no strict rules to follow, research generally involves several established stages: •Observation and asking a question This stage involves gathering information about the problem or similar issues. •Formulating hypotheses Hypotheses are ideas about the factors involved in the problem or the expected outcomes. •Testing and experimenting We test each hypothesis by designing experiments that measure the relevant factors. •Results and conclusions After collecting data, we organize it into tables and graphs to better understand the results and draw conclusions. •Scientific communication and formulation of laws or theories A law or theory summarizes the problem and allows us to predict outcomes in similar cases without repeating the entire process.
