EXPERIENCE DESIGN ... is the practice of intentionally shaping how people interact with products, systems and/or services. Focusing not only on functionality and usability but on the overall quality of the experience. IT CONSIDERS: the user’s emotions, expectations, context, and goals throughout the interaction process. CORE PRINCIPLES Human-centered – design starts from understanding users, their needs, motivations, and behaviors. Context-aware – experiences depend on the environment (physical, social, digital). Iterative – good experiences are refined through cycles of prototyping and testing. Holistic – considers the full journey before, during, and after the interaction. Emotional and meaningful – aims to evoke trust, satisfaction, delight, or other positive emotions. METHODOLOGY Experience Design follows a human-centered design process, often represented as double diamond. (Discover → Define → Develop → Deliver) 1.
