Apuntes

• Subtopic: Cnidarian Characteristics Cnidarians exhibit radial symmetry and possess both a mouth and an anus. They are characterized by tentacles that surround their mouth, which are often equipped with cnidocytes—specialized stinging cells used for capturing prey and defense. • Subtopic: Reproduction Cnidarians reproduce sexually during the jellyfish stage, where they produce gametes. They also reproduce asexually during the polyp stage, where new polyps can bud off from the parent, allowing for colony growth.
