**UNIT 7: PLANTS** --- **Metabolic and Autotrophic Organisms** Plants are metabolic, autotrophic organisms that cannot move around. They can live on land and in aquatic environments. They reproduce sexually, and some also reproduce asexually. **Vascular System** Complex plants have a vascular system similar to a circulatory system, which communicates all the cells of the plant.
