Even though I grew up in a rural town, Now I know my dreams won’t let me down. Growing up, opportunities were few, Little by little I learned what to do. I finished school many years ago; however, my dream stayed alive, So I kept believing that one day I would arrive. However, money made the journey slow, Later I learned there was still a way to go. Even though many doors were closed before, At the same time I searched for something more. Reality showed barriers on my road, Nevertheless I carried hope as my load. In time I found the chance to begin, Now I study hard and believe I can win. Gradually I see my future more clear, Patience and effort brought me here. At twenty-six I reached a new start, Yet that victory strengthened my heart. So today I proudly say, Over time I found my way. Finally I see new paths to explore, For this reason I know: English opens doors.
