Hello, my name is Audrey Hepburn. I was born on May 4, 1929, in Brussels, Belgium. My childhood was difficult because I grew up during World War II. Living in the Netherlands during the Nazi occupation shaped me and made me deeply sensitive to the pain of others. After the war, I dreamed of becoming a ballerina and trained hard in ballet. However, because of the war's effects on my health and body, I couldn’t pursue a full-time career in dance. Life led me to acting, and soon I discovered a new passion. My big break came when I starred in Roman Holiday (1953), which won me an Academy Award for Best Actress. After that, I acted in many famous films like Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina, Funny Face, and My Fair Lady. People loved me not only for my elegance and beauty but also for my kindness and simplicity. In my personal life, I was a mother of two sons, Sean and Luca. Family was always very important to me, more than fame or fortune. Later in life, I dedicated myself to a mission that truly mattered to me — helping children in need.
