We had to put off the morning meeting because the manager was late. I had to put up with a colleague who wouldn’t stop complaining. Around noon, I put on my jacket and went out to grab a quick lunch. When I returned, the fire alarm went off, and we had to put out a small fire. Later, I put through an important call and then put aside some time to finish a report. Before I left, I put down my notes on the table and called it a day.
